Risutec TK-120

The Risutec tree planting head is a robust accessory to be mounted on an excavator to facilitate planting nursery tree-stock in rugged terrain, typical for timber production (e.g. Eucalypt and Pine species). The planting head enables mounting of the following soil prepping tools prior to planting, with additional features supporting early tree establishment. Mountable soil tillage tools: ripper tooth - loosens compacted, light textured, gravelly soils curved blade - removes surface weeds in non-compacted soils V-blade - creates a trench as rain water catchment suitable in drier areas ‘open bucket’ for deep subsoiling (0.5m) of medium textured soils rotorvating (deep subsoiling (0.4 m) of compacted heavy to light textured soils) Additional features at planting: dosing additives (e.g. fertilizer granules, biochar, hydrogel) spraying (e.g. bio-repellents) watering (additional pump and water reservoir) Status: Deployed for experimental purposes planting a diverse mix of tree species under variable soil conditions for nature restoration and reforestation purposes in Spain, over a 6 months period (hours of use 1.000 h). All parts in good working condition. Soil prepping tools show very limited wearing (see attached pictures).
