Welcome to Sheehan Equipment! J.E. Sheehan Corp. has the experience to meet your construction needs under budget and under one roof. We started the business in 1981 doing residential work and in 1985, we became incorporated. We specialized in residential construction, sewer and septic systems, driveways and excavation. After 1985, we directed and managed landfill projects for paper mills and municipalities. We have worked on projects for the New York State Office of Parks and Recreation, St. Lawrence County Solid Waste Disposal Authority and municipal sewer and water projects for Potsdam, St. Vincent, Tupper Lake, Champlain and others throughout the North Country. We have expanded to include structural steel erecting, concrete and site projects for Corning Glass Corporation and the historic restoration at Bolte Castle in the Thousand Islands. In 1995, we opened Catamount Ridge Quarry, a state D.O.T. approved materials producer where we manufacture a variety of crushed stone products, over 1,000,000 ton of materials for the Morriso-Knudsen Corporation for the ALCOA remediation project.
