The manufacturer is the Italian Pompetravaini, year of manufacture 2002. The vacuum pump is a two-stage, water compartment pump with an impeller placed eccentrically in the pump body. The water acts as a seal for the pump operation, the shaft has double mechanical seals. The pump is equipped with a cavitation prevention valve. The impeller and shaft are made of stainless steel (AISI 316), the pump body is made of cast steel and the pipes are made of normal steel. The shaft is supported by grease-lubricated roller bearings outside the frame. The device has connections for adding seal water and an outlet valve for emptying the pump.
